Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December) – How can you not be excited? J.J. Abrams who made Star Trek cool has his shot to revamp Star Wars. We have enjoyed the Star Wars franchise but wouldn’t call ourselves a Star War’s enthusiast, but with Abrams writing and directing this film our excitement is pretty high!

American Sniper (January 16) – Clint and Cooper team up to tell the story of the most deadly sniper in American history. The marketing for this movie has been masterful and we hope the movie lives up to the intense trailersamerican_sniper

Mad Max: Fury Road (May) – Tom Hardy is in it. enough said! (Along with Child 44)

Avengers: Age of Ultron (May) – Joss Whedon is back with his gang of superheroes after their stellar first outing. Marvel movies for us have become formulaic but Ultron seems to be a compelling villian and the hopes for an equally amazing sequel seems to be in good hands with Whedon penning and directing this project.

The Walk (October) – Tells the story of tight-rope walker Philippe Petit and his attempt to cross the Twin Towers on a high-wire in the 70s. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away) team up to tell this true story. The Walk

Jurassic World (June) – This is the real wildcard of the group but we hope it is a success. We are a big fan of Chris Pratt and believe he is a very good lead man for this reboot.

Everest (September) – The draw for Everest is the stellar cast which is lead by Jake Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Keira Knightley and Josh Brolin.

The Revenant (December/Early January 2016) – This movie follows Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his vengeful hunt for those who left him for dead. The Revenant seems like a sure thing to be a huge hit with a stellar cast that includes Tom Hardy, and the already mentioned Leo DiCaprio. Written and Directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, The Revenant is a film all movie lovers need to be aware of!

Others to be looking for: The Fantastic Four, Minions, Ted 2, In the Heart of the Sea, Chappie, Focus and Inherent Vice.
